[Advisers] SLC Information

Please read the following information carefully.  It would probably be a
good idea to print and keep for your records.  

 

Packet:  

*        Available at www.txfbla.org <http://www.txfbla.org>
(conference page) and http://www.ctsoreg.com/ <http://www.ctsoreg.com/> 

*        Read Carefully! 

*        Adhere to all guidelines and deadlines!

 

Dues:  February 1st - was membership deadline

 

Registration:

*        Must be done online at http://www.ctsoreg.com/
<http://www.ctsoreg.com/> 

*        Due by February 29

*        Price:  $60 per person (conference shirt included; this also
covers online testing fees)

*        Payment - take to conference (do not mail!)

 

Password:

*        If you are a returning chapter, click the "Get Password" link
at the top of the registration webpage listed above.  Choose your school
and the password will be sent to you

*        If you are a new chapter, Click "Support Ticket" link at the
top of the registration webpage listed above.  Submit a support ticket
with your school information and state that you need to be added and
need a password.

*        DO THIS ASAP!

 

Testing:

*        Objective testing will be done online.

o   Testing Window:  March 5 - March 26. 

o   Testing Information will be sent soon.

*        Materials - must be postmarked by Feb. 29 and mailed to address
given

*        Open Testing will be available to students at the conference in
the following areas:  Business Etiquette, Fair Use, Leadership, Internet
Safety, and Calculator Applications

 

Hotel:

*        Reservations:  Must be completed online at the website listed
above.

*        Deadline:  February 29

*        Payment:  must be postmarked by March 14 and mailed to the
address given.

 

SLC Social

*        PJ Movie Night - students will pay $1 to wear pj's or casual
attire to the movie night.  This money will go to the March of Dimes.  

*        Guidelines:  shirts must have sleeves (we suggest conference
t-shirt);  no see through clothing; pants must be worn (pj pants or
other) - no shorts; must wear under garments and they must not show; all
clothing subject to adviser approval.

 

ADVISER DUTY

*        Adviser assignments worked great last year with each adviser
choosing their duty.  An email will be sent soon with instructions on
how to sign up for your duty.    

 

Please read through the packet carefully - many different areas are
covered in the packet. If you have a question about something I have not
addressed here or in the packet, please feel free to ask.
