Hello Advisers!

I received the information below regarding a scholarship opportunity.
Sounds like a great opportunity for students.

Have a great weekend,

Dear Traci,

I hope your school year is off to a great start!

Knowledge Matters is preparing for the new school year and is ready to
announce its annual Virtual Business Scholarship. If you would like your
state to participate, please forward this information to your FBLA
chapter advisers. Junior and senior high school students who show
excellence in business and marketing courses and show interest and
accomplishment in the use of technologies within these subjects are
eligible to apply for the Virtual Business Scholarship. The scholarships
are judged on a national level and there are three awards. The first
place winner will receive $1,000. Second place will receive $500 and
third, $250. Full details are available on the Knowledge Matters, Inc.
website.

Educators may access the application for this scholarship by visiting
www.KnowledgeMatters.com/scholarships or by clicking on the Virtual
Business Scholarship link found on the Knowledge Matters, Inc. home
page, www.KnowledgeMatters.com <http://www.knowledgematters.com/> . Each
state has a unique code that is needed to view the application. Your
state's code is: 4999603. The only way teachers will be able to access
the scholarship application is if they receive this code from you. I
have also notified your state's business curriculum supervisor as well
as the DECA state adviser. In the past many state supervisors or
organization advisers have announced this scholarship information via
list serve, state websites, or through newsletters.

The information for the 2007/2008 Virtual Business Scholarship is now
available on the Knowledge Matters, Inc. website. Teachers will have
until April 1, 2008 to nominate students and fax the applications back
to Knowledge Matters, Inc. If you have any questions about this
information, please feel free to email me or call me at the number
listed below. We hope the business educators within your state decide to
take advantage of this scholarship opportunity. Thank you very much for
your time and help! Good luck with the 2007/2008 school year!

Sincerely,

Maureen Ginley
