Advisers,

 

Please email Syd at National Travel Systems and give her some idea if
you plan to fly, drive or might be interested in grouping together to
charter a bus to El Paso.  

 

Please read the email below and email her with whatever information you
have.  Even if you think you will not need her services, please email
and let her know that.

 

We are trying to get an idea of how the chapters will be traveling to El
Paso and save them money if possible!

Good morning everyone! National Travel Systems will be working with you

on the upcoming SLC in El Paso. When you get a moment, I need some

preliminary information from you. 

 

Air travel - if you are flying to El Paso, I need to know the estimated

number of seats you think you will need. I will be blocking group air

seats from all major Texas cities. Estimate the MOST seats you will

need. It's easier to drop unused seats than it will be to add

last-minute seats. Unless you tell me otherwise, group air times will be

confirmed to fit the SLC schedule. Arriving flights will arrive El Paso

by 5:00pm on March 08. Departure flights will leave El Paso after 1:00pm

on March 10. If you prefer anything different from these times, please

let us know!

 

Charter bus -  if you are taking your own vehicles or buses, please let

me know. It has been suggested that I arrange charter buses from

specific cities. If this will help you in your costs, please let me

know. I would be able to merge different schools and fill these charter

buses. 

 

Housing - your Texas SLC Online Booking Form will be activated shortly.

You will be able to access this form as soon as your Texas FBLA Board

has given us the approval. As we do for the NLC, you will have the

ability to book your rooms, arrange your air and airport transfers, and

any optional services you will need. Your primary housing contact for

NTS will be Melissa Thomas. Most of you have worked with Melissa in the

years past. She is very good at this and will be quick to respond to

your needs! We will do our very best to place your students into quads.

The billing process for SLC will be identical to NLC. As soon as your

request has been received, Melissa will send you an invoice that will

break down all of your costs. 

 

Room key distribution - Melissa and I will be on-site to coordinate the

room assignments. As we get closer to the date, you will be given exact

instructions on this process. 

 

Please respond via email. We will need a paper trail for the SLC. Here's
