[Advisers] NLC INFO REMINDER

Please remember the following deadlines!!  There is a LOT due to me this
Friday!!

 

 

Competitor Registration

1.	All materials - reports, multimedia disk, website information,
resumes, letters, & skills test must be received by Friday, May 5.
Please mail to:  Texas FBLA, c/o Traci Buckner, PO Box 100, Ore City TX
75683 
2.	I will mail all competitor information and materials to the
national office. 

 

Shirts & Spirit Items

1.	Completed form and payment must be received by Friday, May 5 so
items can be ordered and delivered in time for the conference. 

 

Chapter Registration

Instructions for registration:

1.	Go to the national website, NLC page at:
http://www.fbla-pbl.org/default.asp?c=100&p=2006
2.	Click "Register Now for the 2006 NLC and IFL" 
3.	Enter your chapter number and national password (this is not the
password used for state registration) 
4.	Register your chapter 
5.	Save a copy of the Registration Confirmation page 
6.	Print a page for your records 
7.	Email me a copy of the confirmation page. PLEASE get this
information to me ASAP if you have not sent it to me already.
8.	Payment may be made by check, purchase order or credit card.
All information will be available on the registration page.  June 2nd is
the deadline to receive early bird registration fees. 

 

Hotel/Flight Information

1.	Information from NTS was included in your SLC packet.  I have
also attached the forms for you to download if you do not have the
information.
2.	Please make your hotel arrangements through the travel agency
whether you fly or drive to the conference.  The hotel is already
anticipating having to use an overflow hotel and if you do not book
through the agency, your room may not be included in the block at the
Opryland Hotel.
3.	If you choose to drive, instead of flying you may deduct $40
from each person's amount on the numbers given in the paperwork.

 

Home Skills Testing

1.	Testing materials will be sent to chapters at the end of the
month as soon as I receive them.  They must be received by May 5th with
the other items that are due.

 


Adviser Information

I need the following information for each adviser that will be attending
NLC:

*	Home address  
*	Home phone number 
*	Home email 

 

Please mark your calendars and pay attention to the deadlines listed
above.  These deadlines must be adhered to as I have to meet national
deadlines.
